OK, this is a rather unknown beer which is even difficult to pronounce for non-native German speakers. Also the taste is rather average in my eyes. So why do I test it? The reason is that the brewery claims to be the oldest brewery in the world. Well, not sure whether this is true and I will actually leave it with you to search the internet and investigate. But let’s see what’s the gluten test result.

I tested with a threshold of 5 ppm. The limit of detection depends on the number of drops taken from the extraction solution, please find some more information here.

Test result: A red line appears on the right of the test stick ( T ). This indicates the presence of gluten equal to or above 5 ppm. The blue line on the left test area ( C ) is a control line and indicates that the extract/sample is suitable, the test has been performed correctly and all reagents are active.
